18 MAY 1734 - CHRISTIAN ÄBI[3] and JOHANNES (HANS) ÄBI[3]
BURGDORF: The Honorable Lords have allowed, after humble inquiry Hans and Christian Äbi from Heimismatt, Parish of Heimiswil, who want to establish themselves in Pennsylvania, to give up their citizenship, and remove their funds less a 10 percent tax. Also they will be obliged to take their mother who is still an Anabaptist (with them), or if she stays, reach an agreement with the community to look after her as the Honorable Lords will not. The correct deduction of (10 percent tax) should be collected (relinquished) for settlement by the Honorable Senior Civil Servant.
